Answer

In today’s fast-paced society, several health problems are noticed as a consequence of not having enough exercise added in a number of working individuals’ work hours and leisure time. This essay aims to highlight the causes of this predicament along with few of remedies – taken by these professionals – to address it.

Firstly, one of the major reasons in reduction of physical activity is the prevalence of technology and modern conveniences. Owing to the digital advancements and availability of transporation and household appliances, many tasks that required manual efforts are now accomplished with minimal physical effort. This has reduced the need for physical exertion in daily life. Additionally, occupations demanding long hours of sedentary work makes it challenging for individuals to find time for exercise admist their busy schedules. Moreover, lack of access to suitable exercise facilities and resources in the workplace or immediate vicinity further exacerbates the issue.

However, to tackle the problem of insufficient exercise among working professionals, political and local authorities play a crucial role. They can invest in public infrastructure to create accessible exercise spaces in communities including parks, recreational areas, and walking or cycling paths near residential and commercial areas. Furthermore, employers should take initiatives for employees’ well-being by promoting active breaks, organizing workplace fitness programs or challenges, and providing on-site health clubs. Finally, awareness campaigns can be implemented to motivate these people by highlighting the importance of regular exercise and its positive impact on overall health.

In conclusion, the dearth of physical activities is caused by ubiquity of technological advancements as well as secondary lifestyle and lack in accessibility of exercise facilities; nevertheless, regulative steps taken by the government and employers could curb the posed problem.
